President's Welcome Message
Dear Security Professional,

Welcome to the Lansing Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association – the worldwide voice of Information Security for over 25 years. The Lansing Chapter of ISSA was founded in October of 2002 and has a diverse membership ranging from those who are new to security and technology all the way to the seasoned professional. So don’t worry if you are new to IT or even a in a non-IT role. We look forward to adding those who would like to learn more and continue their education in Information Security. If you are currently working on an IT project we probably have someone who has done it before. Every month we have a Membership meeting where we have a speaker from the Security arena talk to us about new emerging security technologies, compliance issues, and migration techniques. The speakers are chosen by Member requests and interest in particular topics. The Board of ISSA Lansing and I invite you to check us out at one of our Monthly Meetings or contact me at president@lansing.issa.org with any questions.
