October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month
Don’t let hackers scare you away from learning how to protect your cyber lifestyle! You may hear frightful statistics about the state of our internet-connected world, but don’t lose hope. Get in the spirit of security with the National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) initiative. NCSAM is a joint effort presented by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its partners, including the National Cyber Security Alliance, to raise awareness and cyber hygiene tips. The information below is taken from the DHS website at: https://www.dhs.gov/national-cyber-security-awareness-month. Visit the site to learn more!
NCSAM 2016 Themes: Each week in October is dedicated to a specific cybersecurity theme with corresponding messaging.
